Research at BioMed
The BioMed Centre has an on-going multi-disciplinary research and development programme established with funding from the Department of Health. The research and innovation programme has four major themes:
- Understanding and combating catheter-related complications
- Understanding bladder function and novel approaches to achieving continence
- Understanding the perspectives of patients and clinicians in technological and service deployments
- Evaluation, implementation and adoption of new technologies
