Research at BioMed

The BioMed Centre has an on-going multi-disciplinary research and development programme established with funding from the Department of Health. The research and innovation programme has four major themes:

• Understanding and combating catheter-related complications
• Understanding bladder function and novel approaches to achieving continence
• Understanding the perspectives of patients and clinicians in technological and service deployments
• Evaluation, implementation and adoption of new technologies
